JPWeather Community Rules and Guidelines
-
Don't be abusive towards others
We at JPWeather Community encourage open discussions and debates. However, all communications should be civil and respectful. Differences of opinion are okay; personal attacks are not. Our website should not be used to stifle or censor views or to bully other users.
-
Don't use txt/text talk
Apart from anything else, it's extremely annoying and difficult to read for anyone who isn't familiar with text. We also have a number of foreign visitors (many of which speak very good english) and it really isn't fair on them. You don't need to be perfect with spelling, punctuation and grammar. All we ask is that you make some effort.
-
Stay on topic
Comments and contributions to the Sites should be relevant to the topic being discussed. We may remove off-topic posts or those that do not provide substantive purpose or relevance from any of the Sites it controls.
-
Keep it civil and respectful
Comments or content posted to the Sites that are violent, threatening, abusive, sexually explicit, obscene, offensive, hateful, derogatory, defamatory, or are racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable, will not be tolerated. Such comments may result in the removal of the user’s use of and registration in the Community.
-
Keep it legal
Participating in, suggesting, or encouraging any illegal activity is cause for immediate removal and termination of a user’s use of and registration in the Community.
-
No spam
Posting the same message to one or many articles, galleries or discussions is considered spam.
-
No Advertising
If you wish to advertise on the site, please raise a support ticket here to discuss the possibilities, offending posts will be removed on sight. Persistent offenders will be BANNED for spamming the site.
-
Post in the right section
We have tried to categorise the forum in such a way that it should be obvious where to post your message. However, if you make a mistake then a member of the admin team will move your thread to the correct location. Don't just post in the busiest forum, and don't post the same message in multiple locations.
-
Protect your privacy
Do not post personal or any other information that you do not want made public. We may remove any reference to the identity of a participant with the exception of what is disclosed upon registration from any of the Sites it controls.
-
Don't upload or post inappropriate content
If a user uploads or posts inappropriate, pornographic or shocking content to the Sites, such user may be banned from the Community.
-
Accounts.
Each member is allowed one account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. Posting using more than one account will result in the banning of all your accounts. Creating a new user account to continue posting whilst on a temporary ban will result in a permanent ban for both the original and the new account.
Should you not receive your validation email, you can always request another, if you face any further issues please create a support ticket.
Thank you for your understanding
